AIR RECEIVER TANKS
A receiver tank is a good investment for most compressed air systems; it steadies pressure by dampening pulsations from the discharge line, it serves as a reservoir when compressor capacity fluctuates, it prevents overly frequent loading and unloading of the compressor, and it can precipitate any moisture and possible oil carryover that may be present in the compressed air from the compressor or after-cooler. SIMPLAIR ALUMINUM PIPING SYSTEMS
The SimplAir piping system from Ingersoll Rand uses marine-grade aluminum pipes, which are stronger than plastic and more corrosion resistant than steel, and is highest-grade corrosion resistant to keep pipe interior surfaces free of the oxidation-based contamination that can occur with other materials. The resulting product efficiently distributes leak-free supplies of high-flow compressed air and other inert gasses, and support vacuum systems as well, all at an overall reduced cost of ownership.
